Community Strategic Plan

COMMUNITY STRATEGIC PLAN

Blacktown City 2025 adopted in 2008, is Council's long term Community Strategic Plan that will guide the City over the next 15 years. It identifies strategies and trigger projects which have been developed to achieve our vision "to be a vibrant, healthy and safe City - A City of Excellence".


Delivery Program

DELIVERY PROGRAM

Council's 2010/2013 Delivery Program identifies the goals that Council has committed to delivering to the community over the next three years and supports delivery of Blacktown City 2025. It has nine strategy areas that cover aspects of our City and what Council wants to achieve as part of its long term vision.

Operational Plan

2010/2011 OPERATIONAL PLAN

The 2010/2011 Operational Plan is a one year Plan that outlines the specific actions to be undertaken in the 2010/2011 financial year in order for Council to achieve the goals identified in the Delivery Program. Council's annual budget is included in the Operational Plan. The Plan has a series of measures that will be used to monitor Council's progress towards achieving Blacktown City 2025.

2011/2012 OPERATIONAL PLAN

The 2011/2012 Operational Plan is a one year Plan that outlines the specific actions to be undertaken in the next financial year in order for Council to achieve the goals identified in the Delivery Program. Council's annual budget is included in the Operational Plan. The Plan has a series of measures that will be used to monitor Council's progress towards achieving Blacktown City 2025.

2011-2012 Goods & Services Pricing Schedule The 2011/2012 Goods and Services Pricing Schedule identifies the fees for a broad range of goods and services provided by Council.

2011-2012 Works Improvement Program

The 2011/2012 Works Improvement Program outlines the works to be undertaken by Council during 2011/2012.

Community Engagement Strategy

The Community Engagement Strategy outlines various components undertaken by Council when engaging its community in the development of its plans, policies, facilities and services. The Strategy contains the following five components:

  • Community Engagement Policy - which describes Council's commitment to community engagement.
  • Community Engagement Tool Kit - which provides a step by step guide for Council staff undertaking a community engagement process.
  • Implementation Framework - which describes how the strategy will be implemented and reported to Council.
  • Organisational Community Engagement Processes - which describes a number of community engagement proposals for Council's consideration.
  • A to Z Resource Guide of Community Engagement Techniques - which are either currently used by Council or may be suitable to be used by Council staff in their community engagement work.
