On 16 July 2008, Council launched Blacktown City 2025 - Delivering the Vision Together our Vision to guide Blacktown City over the next 15 years and beyond. Blacktown City 2025 will see Council move into the future with confidence, creating a Blacktown that current and future generations will be increasingly proud of.

The Vision provides Council with the opportunity to strategically plan a future for Council, the community, Government, stakeholders and non-government organisations. Blacktown City 2025 is an exciting blueprint that will enable Council to begin the process of having in place a plan that will allow our Vision to be achieved.

Blacktown City 2025 contains 8 key strategies that embrace the many aspects of City life and 9 unique Trigger Projects that will support delivery of the strategies.
